Did the wine tour today. First stop was Jacobs Creek for wine tasting. Only liked one out of the six we tried. Off then to a view point to view the Barossa Valley. Then on to another vineyard, Saltrams. Didn't care for any of their produce. They gave us a beer to try, but it had been lagerfied. Lunch stop at South Australia Company Store. It's like a massive farm shop. I had a creamy veg risotto.
We motored for a while and ended up in a place called Hahndorf. We had just over an hour to wander up and down the main street. Not the ideal day for pottering around, just too darn hot. Bought myself 5 opal triplets, that a hard base, thin layer of opal and quartz on top, for $15. It was nice to get back on the coach. Came back on the highway, didn't take much time at all. Quick change of coach at bus station then back to site after dropping a few people off at Glenelg.
Back at the van for about 6. Just a sandwich for tea. I need salt I think. Got the start of a headache. Think may be a bit de-hydrated after today's scorching heat. Only took 1litre of water between 3 of us.
