I stayed on Koh Lanta for 3 nights with the group that I am travelling with. We arrived at this lovely resort and the receptionist gave me and Vic an upgraded room for the budget price - we had AC and our own little veranda, not that we utilized it at all! The best thing about this resort was that when you were in the restaurant, you could see the beach and the pool without moving! My only real decisions for the past 4 days have been whether to go to the pool or the sea and what food to order! What a hard life I lead!

The weather has been amazing so me and Vic have been getting our tan on and sun bathing for a few hours each day then just messing around in the pool to cool off as it's baking hot ATM! Literally put sun tan lotion on, and within a few minutes I'm sweating it all off!

Yesterday we all hired moto's and decided to discover the island. I went on the back of Curt's and we had a good look around the island. We stopped off at this little restaurant overlooking the sea, called something like the sea gypsy restaurant which was very quaint. We were the only ones in there and they bought my tuna salad out in the shape of a heart, which I thought was sweet xx On our way back though, it started to get dark then the heavens opened and it started absolutely throwing it down!! I couldn't see a thing, so God knows how Curt was, as he was the one driving! We stopped for a bit, then just made a dash to get home! Last night, we all stocked up on chocolates and treats like that and watched a film on Moob's laptop.

I'm going so Koh Samui tomorrow with Vic, Curt and Moobs so looking forward to that, as heard loads of good stuff about it. Not got any accommodation booked so we will just turn up and see what happens J

PS No purple dogs were seen during my stay here on Koh Lanta, not throughout trying…….just 3 shooting stars which is the first time I have actually seen shooting stars (at least I think I saw them….)
