I really don't know what to say about Koh Phangan except I was completely drunk for practically all of my time here! We got a cheap guest house in Head Rin, which is where the party is so we were pretty central to everything. The first night was Coral Bungalows pool party which turned out funny. I didn't take my bikini as I actually had no intention of going in the pool! One bucket down and I was in the pool by midnight with all my clothes on! Needless to say it was a good night, as by 4am I thought I had better get to bed!
During the day me and Vic met these 2 Aussie guys which have to be mentioned! They just came and sat next to us in a restaurant and they were hilarious! Can't really repeat what they were saying, but my journal has all the details! Haha Next night was the jungle party. Me and Vic went all the way there, which took about half an hour and it was rubbish! So we waited for a tuk tuk to take us back to the beach for the pre full moon party. The beach wasn't that busy which was a good, thing and we managed to bump into the guys from Koh Tao so spent some time with them drinking and having a laugh, getting fully involved with a monkey mask! The beach was lined with make shift beach bars selling buckets of everything you can name - vodka, rum, whisky, samsong, literally anything you want! There were dance floors on the beach and in the distance was Mushroom Mountain, which can I say, I did not go to! I didn't really know what to expect but I think it led up to my expectations. Think I had a couple of buckets to myself which I didn't need and can't really remember an awful lot of the night, I just know that it was a good night…. J
The actual full moon party was even better/worse whichever way I look at it. I was so convinced that I was going to stay until sunrise, but I drank too many Samsung buckets and ended up in bed my midnight…..It was a good night from what I can remember though…..
I didn't really see much of the island, as spent all my time drinking, or in bed! It seemed a nice place from what I saw anyway! Met loads of nice people, some that I will keep in touch with and some that I probably won't. I definitely want to come back for another full moon party though!
I leave for Kuala Lumpur tonight, so I'm just sat in our usual restaurant that me and Vic frequent several times daily, where we see practically everyone we know at some point walk past to stop to chat to us! Gotta love the free wi fi! J Not looking forward to my massive journey to KL on my own, but it's got to be done. The way I'm feeling at the moment is that I'm not massively excited about going to Oz. I've fell in love with Asia and the basic way of living and don't want to have to pay a fortune for everything and get a job! Basically I don't want to return to reality as I love this way of life!!

I feel really weird leaving South East Asia tonight and heading briefly to Malaysia then onto Australia. I have absolutely had the best 3 ½ months of my life and that's no exaggeration whatsoever! I've met so many people that I never even knew existed and been to places that I never dreamt I would end up in a million years! Can't believe my SE Asia trip has come to an end. It has seemed to fly by so quickly! I am definitely going to return back here one day, and hopefully it won't be too long before I do either. I want to go to some of the same places that I've already been, and I want to go to new places that I didn't have time to fit in on this trip. I'm going to make it happen as well. I need to go to Australia, work and save some money and then come back here again and live the dream all over again!!
Next stop….Malaysia!
