27th Feb - I got woken up by a very quick hug in bed from Si! He was leaving us to move onto new travels in Asia! :( We were now ginge-less!!! I have to say, he is the funniest ginger I've ever met. If he's reading this, he's probably gloating right about now. Not only is he funny, but he somehow manages to pull off the whole ginger hair and pale skin look. However, he did stick out as the anomaly in our group :P especially with Stu around - who is totally BLICK.
With a Si down, Stu was the only boy left in our little group. He was practically a girl anyway so it was fine. We went and chilled by the lake to catch some all important rays. We knew that today, our dear Fenning would arrive in Queenstown; we hadn't seen him since Asia! A reunion was definitely on the cards. Hannah and I went to buy some lunch. On the way to get food, we'd noticed that the Kiwi Experience bus had arrived at Nomads so Fenning must've arrived! We sneaked in and saw him checking in so we hid behind him until he eventually saw us! The trio were united! We grabbed a subway and headed back down to the lake. Shortly after, Fenning came along to join us so we caught up on what we'd been up to the last couple of months. Kylie and Stu went souvenir shopping and soon we were joined by Joey. Fenning left, and myself and Hannah had a good chat with Joey. We decided to eventually head back to eat and get ready to go out one last time in Queenstown in our little foursome (me, Hannah, Kylie and Stu). We had stuck together the whole journey in new zealand and it really did feel like we were family. We drank with Rosie and Char and with everyone left on our buses down by the lake. We all sat around in a big circle drinking and chatting with everyone we had met over the last 4 weeks. We all went out together and ended the night in the only place we know how to :)
