21st Feb - We woke up late morning sporting a sore head and headed to the lake to sunbathe but shortly after everyone decided to get the gondola and go luging which is similar to go-karting. I was pretty hungover and couldn't really afford it, so I decided to stay on the beach. It wasn't a particularly warm day but I was determined to sunbathe. After a little while, Joey came and sat down by me and we spent about 3 hours chatting about life! Definitely the best chat I've had whilst travelling ! I felt like I made a friend that day :)
A guy who was on my course at Uni, called Jim, had arrived in Queenstown and was in the same dorm as us!! The weird thing was that Kylie had met Jim in Australia and travelled the east coast with him! Such a small world. We all went out that night and went to another bar where beers were just $3 each!!! We ended up in world bar that night once again.
22nd Feb - I got suddenly woken up early by Hannah telling me to get up as we were going to Milford Sounds. I honestly didn't think we were going to make it - I was unbelievably hungover; I could barely even move!! Somehow I jumped out of bed and was ready in 2 minutes. I hadn't taken off last nights make up or brushed my hair. I looked like a state, but I was still wasted and didn't even care. Me and Hannah had a sleep as soon as we got on the bus. We were in such a bad way. Hannah had to be sick in a bin bag on the bus! Haha! We stopped off for a lovely picture in a scenic spot and Hannah had to go off to be sick. We got back on the bus, slept some more and eventually arrived at Milford Sounds. We boarded a boat which took us around for 2 hours. It was incredible! We saw waterfalls, seals and the amazing valley. It was so beautiful! When we got off, we hopped back on the bus and ended up sleeping most of the way back.
When we got back we were thinking about what to do; it was Adz's last night. We ended up buying tickets for the pub crawl which was cool. We went to the ice bar which was awesome!! and ended the night at World bar, again. Unfortunately I couldn't get drunk as I was so hungover but spent a lot of money trying!
