We woke up to the sounds of birds singing in the trees outside our 5* tent. After a good nights sleep in a double bed, not a bunk bed we were ready for an active day.

Activities -
- Snorkeling - but the sea was a bit churned up but we still managed to see a sting ray, which made us get out. If Steve Irwin can't handle a sting ray we have no chance! So a bit of a failed mission.
- A walk to Monkey Beach - Since the cyclone not long ago, all the trails have been disturbed and by the sounds of it the snakes too! People had stumbled across brown snakes on their way so we made a swift about turn....screw that! We will try climbing rocks to it tomorrow. Failed mission again!
- Stand up paddle boarding (majority knelt down) - success!

After reassessing why we had come to the island we realised something....we came to chill out, not to put ourselves through fearful encounters!

The rest of the day was spent doing just that and before we knew it we were watching a beautiful sunset on the beach. Good job we brought the torch this time!
