Today we borrowed the car and went went to visit Mooloolaba, which is just over an hour north of Brisbane. After a wander around the shops we resorted back to our favourite backpackers lunch.... homemade picnic on the beach. This consists of a whole cooked chicken, a baguette, crisps and a choice of sauce. The hardest thing is to avoid the seagulls. The waves here were enormous, you know they are strong when the lifeguards put out 'Caution Huge Dumping Waves' signs. After crashing about in the gigantic waves we set back off home to catch the girls at their hip hop lesson.

After a few wrong turnings we made it and even joined in!

This evening we allowed the girls to facepaint us.... we bow down to their every word.... the cuteness is hard to say no to!! See photo.... Your opinion of Matt may rapidly change!!
