We decided we needed to see the sights of Noosa Heads today so we planned a walk in the national park with Amber and Tom. Soon into the coastal walk to the headland we stumbled across an acidna (a cross between an ant eater and a hedgehog) hoovering up ants. We stopped to take a few photos, excited that this was our first acidna sighting and then continued on the trail. The views were amazing, we walked the coastal paths before stopping for lunch on top of the cliff to take it all in! The forest path on return held its own surprise.... A snake!! Apparently not scared of humans, it just sauntered away. On returning to the village we stumbled across 'Little Cove', a calm oasis of clear water, it would had been rude not to stop and have a dip while the sun set. It's awesome when you find these beautiful, untouched gems!
