Happy Birthday Norm!!
What a better way to celebrate than a trip to the zoo! After booking a day off school, we travelled with our own two monkeys in the back of the car, we travelled down Steve Irwin Highway to Australia's world famous zoo. Knowing that this was going to be the best zoo we will ever visit, expectations were high and excitement was building!

Events of the day....
- The Crocoseum Show (we payed special attention to the croc safety lessons as we will shortly be traveling North!!)
- Trips around the areas of South East Asia and Africa (each location was acted out by the girls! We almost felt like we were there with lines such as "wow it's so hot in Africa!")
- Feeding kangaroos
- Getting up close to koalas
- Char running away from the snake area
- The camera working overtime with Matt's eye for nature (comments from the girls included "Where's Matt?" "Probably taking MORE photos!!")

We were not let down as there were hardly any signs of captivity!

"It was bleeding crap" (Norm quote - For those of you who didn't know Norm this means it was awesome!!)
