Today was full of sporting events. The day started by watching a surf competition in Coolum, however it wasn't the best day for it. After last weeks storms, the sea there looked like an ocean full of John Smiths Cask (that's the hand pulled one for any of you none ale drinkers!). Curiosity got the best of Matt and after a bit of surfing himself he realised this was not the case and felt slightly sick! After everyone giving up on the sea, we headed to the local surf club to watch the most anticipated boxing match in years! 'The Money Team' vs 'Packman' Standing room only, the atmosphere was electric! After the full 12 rounds, it was clear the money team had been flashing their cash and the bar emptied rapidly with disgust! Following the crowds we headed for Matt's first sushi experience.... But how can you go wrong with fried chicken sushi! Next time he needs to be more adventurous!!
Our next sporting event of the day was..... A SKYPE marathon! With an excellent wifi connection, beer in hand, the conditions were perfect and the teams performance was outstanding!!
