Today is Chinese New Year, it was noodles for breakfast and then onto our class, covering the subject. The bell rang early for a 'SPECIAL' lunch, as we walked into the kitchen Matt's words were.... "I'm going to be sick!" The bowl on the table consisted of the week's vegetables, mixed with bits of meat plus the fat. Char tried her best to pick out some of the veg to make it look like we had attempted it. But she is not one to eat tiny bits of fat on bacon, never mind a bowl full of it. Instead we ate the fish and rice and swiftly left the table. We were also given beers. We had arranged to help on the farm after our lessons but when we arrived Rattana was asleep in the hammock after too much to drink this afternoon so instead we took part in #HammockLife ourselves.

For tea it was Mamma's stir fry washed down with some beer given to us by Dr Vyrak. He explained that he had a headache but when we sympathised with him, he explained that it was down to too much to drink at lunchtime, it was only 5pm. When we glanced across the farm, there stood his car.... can they drink drive over here?!

After shower time we watched a bit of 'Penguins' with the kids. Determined to sleep tonight, we downloaded an app - RAT REPELLER! We hope it works.
