After spending yesterday by the pool we decided we wanted to do something different today. Having had a bit too much sun yesterday we decided to check out the Angkor cinema, to get a bit of time in the shade.
We looked through a book with hundreds of films in and chose Spy to watch. Then we were shown to a private room with a huge leather sofa and the film was set up for us. About 20 minutes later they bought in the popcorn and drinks we ordered and we sat and enjoyed a bit of relief from the sun and a film!
After this we decided we should probably do something a bit cultural at some point this week so we visited the Preah Pramaeth pagoda which was close by. It was lovely and peaceful and we enjoyed walking around looking at the mini temples and Buddhas.
We headed back to chill by the pool for a bit, it was pretty busy but we were quite happy to sit in the shade.
We are heading out tonight to meet Gemma and Matt for some food and drinks which should be nice.
