Both of us knew about this part of Cambodian history and what both places were used for but nothing prepares you for actually seeing it in person. I was hoping to write when we arrived in Cambodia but that didn't end up being until 2am! We got a minibus from Bangkok to the Poi Pet border, which took about 5 hours but wasn't too bad.
