Last week at Rusty's, a man who knows my name somehow (I think it's probably because I must have served him at Hog's Breath), told me about the Samoan stall that sells a plate with a trial size of every dish they do for $10, and how it was the best value food in town. He challenged me that I wouldn't be able to eat it all, so I told him I would come back and try it. Alice was well enough to accompany me, and although I didn't see him there, I had it anyway, and I was shocked that he would think I wouldn't be able to finish it! It was a fair sized portion but I still had room for Alice's unwanted sushi roll afterwards, so that just shows him! Included on the plate was taro with coconut cream, a chicken drumstick, some pork, some salad, a meaty noodle type thing and a something that looked like spinach wrapped round cream cheese. I washed it down with a Poi milkshake (banana and coconut cream).

It was actually sunny for a change, so I sunbathed, whilst Alice shade bathed, and then I got ready to go to work. Alice came with me to talk to Josh; he's given her the opportunity to work tomorrow evening.

A lady had to have her steak recooked, and then still was unhappy with it. It makes me feel really awkward when they say they won't be coming back as I don't know how to persuade them they should come again.

It seems a bit strange for Dave to have put two paying Swedish girls in our room for two nights, since it's not the nicest room in the hostel, but luckily they wanted to go to bed as early as me and Alice did (Bex was staying at Barry's).
