I still haven't shaken off the body clock I got from the farm, so I started the day early again, which meant I had got most of what I wanted to do out the way pretty early (send my I.D. to Australia for my superannuation claim, buy mum and dad's birthday presents, and check various things online), so I went to Peter Pan's and spent an hour on the computers.
Alice texted to say her and Flo were going to the aquarium, which I didn't fancy spending $34 on, so I caught the bus to Mission Bay, which Bridget and Stu had suggested as a thing to do. Apparently it's the place to get frozen yoghurt, and people hire rollerblades and bikes to ride along the pathway, and I quite fancied going rollerblading as something different to do, but there didn't seem to be anyone doing it, and I couldn't see anywhere where you could hire them. The frozen yoghurt places didn't compare to Yo-Chi in Melbourne, but I felt obliged to get one anyway. I found a bench to read my book, and then Alice texted to say that they were out of the aquarium and if I made it there by 2.20, I could get the free shuttle bus back to town with them, which I did manage to catch, although I had to run as I turned the corner as the bus was already there.
Alice had seen a leaflet for some sensory maze or something, but we didn't know where it was, so we decided to join in St. Patricks day celebrations, although we didn't want to spend the $10 cover charge to get into the busy club, so we bar hopped around: the first bar was an American style one by the harbour, the next was a sports bar near my hostel (and near a Fix where Alice brought 2 bottles of 1.5 litre coke, to get the free cards that came with them, and so we played various card games) and then in a bar with an Irish man playing guitar, and occasionally accompanied by another man playing violin.
When it was time for dinner, we parted ways, and I pretty much went to bed after I had eaten.
