We drove from Yeppoon to a place called 1770, it's named because this is where Captain Cook first landed in Australia in 1770. We stayed at a caravan park and went down to the beach. This morning we drove to Yeppoon. We are catching up with friends of Mum and Dad they have 6 kids and Emma their mum is having another baby. We drove out to a National Park today, the mountains were covered in mist and rain so we couldn't see a thing at any look outs. But we went to look for platypus and as soon as we got to the viewing area we saw turtles. Then we saw a platypus, it swam around, coming up and going back under it even swam to our side of the creek. It was cool, not many people get to see them in the wild.

This morning we drove to Mackay. We are staying at our friends house who used to to live in the same street as us. When we arrived we were all so excited to see each other.
