We drove into Normanton today, it's a place that Burke & Wills travelled to when they went across Australia. When we were there we went a park with a giant crocodile statue. When we read about it, it said a lady crocodile hunter shot it and the statue was based on the measurements, it was 8.63 metres long and really scary, like a real monster. We left Mount Isa and drove to a campsite called Terry Smith, it was so hot. We got to have icy-poles because Mum and Dad use their fridge as a fridge and Uncle Mark uses his as a freezer. It was so nice to have something cold, yum.
