We drove from Yeppoon to a place called 1770, it's named because this is where Captain Cook first landed in Australia in 1770. We stayed at a caravan park and went down to the beach. Dad was excited because this place and the town Agnes Waters are the most northern places that there is surf. We were happy because there are no more crocodiles so we can all swim and surf. We went to a look out and had a walk around, there was a huge anchor from a ship that was wrecked at a reef near 1770. When we left we drove to Bundaberg to have a look around. Uncle Mark and Dad wanted to go to the Bundaberg Distillery, so we all went on the tour. It is made from sugar cane, yeast and water. We went into a huge building which was full of mollassess, that's what they use to make it. Then when went into a giant vat to get an idea of what happens. Some of the factory was interesting but other parts were really boring. We had lunch at a playground nearby and then drove to Hervey Bay.
