We drove to Mount Isa along the Barkley Highway and found a caravan park for the night. In the morning we went to the Riversleigh Fossil Centre, its all about a cattle station 200 kms away and all the fossils that have been found there. The fossils are between 20,000 and 30 million years old, they are prehistoric mammals only found in Australia. It was really interesting, we got to dig for a fossil in a sand pit, we think it is a Stegosaurus.
