Lanes Australia Trip
We drove all day, stopping at Paronella Park, but it was way too wet to go in. Mum took some photos from the bridge right near the entrance. We had lunch at Tully the wettest town in Australia. There is giant gumboot that is as tall as the most rain ever recorded there in a year. There is a staircase that goes up to the top, we went up there. 7.6 metres is the highest recorded rainfall, the average is over 4 metres. It was raining of course. When we got to Townsville we found a caravan park. No rain, so Mum and Dad could get everything dry.
