Tomorrow is Driving day. We were Covid tested (negative), serviced car, saw friends, and celebrated my birthday/Easter early. We've closed up the house, added more clothes (so hard to choose), loaded the RV refrigerator and freezer, attached the car for towing, and are spending our final night in Warwick in front of the house. My To Do list has been completed but by default. I’m feeling mixed emotions. The excitement and anticipation of seeing new places and meeting new people. But also, borderline fear like I felt on my 1990 first single-handed cruise for a month around New England in my first sailboat Triumph. Mixed emotions aside, I will go ahead and do it anyway, as usual! Thank you to all my friends who support me in my crazy life.
The 2021 Adventure Leg 1 plan is below but the one thing we've learned is that you have to change your plan as things occur - weather, campgrounds, route changes, RV issues, user errors, etc. We will update the blog when we have WIFI access. Most campgrounds are good on the promise of WIFI but poor on the delivery. Also probably not answering the phone or texts during the day because we will be driving but will answer in the evening.
