06/06/21 We left the farm today. I was nervous to hook up the car in the street but needed a flat surface. Mike and Rosie went up the hill and turned on their flashers as I did, working as fast as I could. Finished quickly and actually didn't have to worry because no cars passed us. ;-) We drove 131 miles to Crook County RV Park in Prineville OR but it was mostly through the mountains (my favorite, not) to a max elevation of 4234 feet then more up and down. We drove through some cute towns including Sisters. Shannon was extremely anxious again even with calming chews and trying 2 more locations in the RV for her to ride. We are thinking it's the engine noises. Will try another location alternative tomorrow. With full hookups campsites, we all worked on our RVs and made it an early night. The temperature went down to 34 so we were glad for the electric heat.

Chris Mekdsy Again, good hearing from you. Things are okay here in Warwick. Although I don't remember if I told you, but Julie's car was stolen about a month ago. Mitch and I took her to the Providence Police dept. and she filed a report. Glad Norm is now here from Florida (came in Friday). He bought a car to keep here and will fly back in August. Not feeling all that well today, but I have just a few local errands to run. Otherwise, a stay-home day with the temp around 85 degrees plus/minus. As you know, Betsey had a stroke and her whole left side is paralyzed. She is with Deb and Dave with help coming in. So, no good news this week. Have a great day, Love and miss ya, C
Sandra Seifert Sisters...one of my favorite towns...although it is not the town of my youth! When Gerrod and I went back packing on the South Sister a couple of years ago we were shocked at how much Sisters and Bend had grown. Not the quaint small towns we remembered. 😭
