06/12/21 We made the impossibility hard decision not to continue the trip with our band of friends. The health and happiness of Shannon (as well as myself) must be considered more important than our plans for this trip. Home is almost 2800 miles from here. We are planning on finding the flattest route using mostly interstate highways which should help Shannon. Mike and I went to the grocery and auto stores for the group. Our last dinner together was great with all of our favorites. Laughter and a few tears. Although this trip together has ended, we know there will be others in our future. Our RV will travel south while their RVs will be going north.
