We began going north after almost 3 weeks going west. We are first driving US 395 since it is a more scenic route. It starts as a two lane highway but now often becomes a divided 4 lane highway. We drove 153 miles Boulder Creek RV Resort in Lone Pine CA. Nice people and campground. We are in their new section but no TV or WiFi. We drove over to Keeler (population 50) because Wayne and Patti wanted to mail postcards from there but it appears the post office is only open for a few hours on Saturdays.
Status report for those who might be interested. Gone 30 days. Campgrounds 14, Harvest Hosts 4, gas fills 18, new additions to the RV (leveling system, SafeTPlus, 6 new tires, plus small stuff). You might have noticed no dollar amounts because we really don’t want to know them right now but we can say with certainty, it is not cheaper to live/travel in an RV. But we are enjoying the adventures that each day brings! Our saying is that each adventure is either a good time or a good story.
