This morning both RVs had important improvements. After tracking down many alternatives, Wayne and Patti's successfully fixed their solar panels system and they are now happily charging in the desert sun. On our RV, we tracked down the issue with running water and hot water. So when you turn on your faucet today and you have running hot and cold water, please appreciate being without that for 29 days. Yep we are officially happy campers. We spent the night at Shady Lane RV Camp in Barstow CA after driving only 143 miles. This campground has very nice and helpful people but officially makes it to our dueling banjo list (the song from the movie Deliverance). Let's just say we're glad to be together here. We'll let the pictures tell the story. This stop positions us to begin driving north on US395, a more scenic route. We didn't unhook so we could leave with minimal effort in the morning.
