Patti and I worked on where we would be going for the next three days and the three of us would work together as we travel. It is true that many state parks are fully booked. But we will be using our Harvest Hosts memberships (more later on that). I worked on a couple of small RV projects with Wayne. (Thank you Wayne.) We dewinterized my RV, reinstalled the water filter which is conveniently located under my queen bed (read sarcasm) and hooked up to city water. Nice having running water and not living out of gallon water jugs. However when I filled my water tank with 10 gallons (1/4 full to minimize the weight), the water pumped worked and nothing leaked but it would not prime. Turns out the plug for the hot water heater had corroded. Gushing water outside and moments of running around trying to turn off everything ensued. So now I am turning on the water pump when I need water and then turning it off. No hot water but that’s a project for another day.
