Yesterday I forgot to mention I had to drive by Mammoth Cave instead of stopping as I had originally planned. Guess I’ll have to come back this way again.
A shorter drive today but still about 3.5 hours. Changed time zones only twice between Alabama and Georgia. We had to be at the factory in Tallapoosa GA for a 1:30 appointment only to install the unit. They install the SafeTplus and then take you on a test drive to make the adjustments. The RV drives so much better now. (Thank you Wayne and Pattie for the unit.) Wayne drove over to have the one on his RV checked and then we both drove about 1.5 hours further south to Wind Creek State Park in Alexander City AL. Largest campground we’ve ever seen, over 500 campsites. We met up with Pattie and the southeast contingent of their family for 3 days of camping. They just bought their first travel trailer so this is their maiden camping trip. So nice to see everyone again. It will be nice to relax for a couple of days too. Wayne, Pattie, and I will then be making plans about where we are going next, so stay tuned.
