Land Yacht Journeys
Wind Creek State Park is a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days. So many things to do or just sit and do nothing. Lots of families and a wide variety of RVs. It has the second largest lake in Alabama, equine camping, zip lines for kids, playgrounds, bath houses everywhere and man made sand beaches. Patti and Wayne picked our three campsites to form a small compound where we could eat dinner and build fires each night. No TV, no internet. Friendly neighbors and lots of activity during the day but at 9:00, everything stopped. Campgrounds have quiet hours usually from 9 or 10 o’clock at night to 6 o’clock in the morning. But I have never seen them honored as well as here.
