We drove through Normanton and stopped at a giant crocodile statue. We kept on driving to Karumba and set up camp then we got to go to the pool. Then we went for a walk along the beach to the pub to watch the sunset. We also had soft drinks to finish off the day.
The next day we went to the Barra centre to learn some information about barramundi. Before we went on a tour around the building we had a look around at the fish that were in a tank. We also got to feed huge barra while they were in a tub. Luckily they don’t have teeth, they suck in the water around their food and then push the water back out through their gills. Did you know, they are all born male and then turn into females later once they’re older.
We were lucky enough TV reception to watch the grand final. I was going for Raiders and they should’ve won.

Nannette and Poppy Den How interesting to learn something new about the barramundi apart from how good they are to eat ….
