September 1st

Today we left Scone and drove all the way to Moree. First we stopped at Narrabri and had lunch. All around Narrabri there were paddocks of cotton that stretched as far as the eye could see.                   

Then we got to Moree.  We stopped at a caravan park for 1 night and swam in very warm pools. The warmest pool was about 39 degrees. The water is hot because it comes from deep underground.

September 2nd –

Today we woke up early, Dad locked the doors and sent it. We stopped at Mungindi for morning tea which was the border of NSW and QLD. We saw lots of emus on the way to Mitchell. Finally we got to Mitchell and had ice cream. Then we saw two echidnas crossing the road together. When we got to Augathella we went to a pub for one drink then we stayed at a free camp for one night. We got invited to a camp fire with some other campers and they gave me a boomerang.
