For my 22nd we planned to be in Nha Trang to make use of the beach and to do an island cruise off the coast all day. We started off the cruise at 9am with only one way.. A beer! And that's pretty much how the cruise planned out.. Naturally Jordan told them it was my birthday and I got numerous free drinks, happy days.! We went to a few islands which had some pretty cool beaches and one had a small coral reef, although the visibility wasn't the best, role on koh Tao diving at Christmas! There was only a few people on there our age but most of us went out for something to eat, met a couple of sound Kiwi's and had an unexpectedly good night, and I didn't actually spend a penny :)
We didn't actually make it to bed till till 5.30.. But breakfast was at 7.00 and we actually got up to our alarms and made it up the stairs.. Wasn't going to miss out on free breakfast now! Sure enough I was still pissed out my head eating my fried eggs on toast, and we spent the day hungover watching films in the common room.
The hostel we stayed at was probably the best so far, they were super super friendly and learnt our names straight away, and actually bought me a birthday card and present. Although they definitely had a soft spot for me and Jord, always soo happy to see us..
