When we arrived in Dalat, everyone was walking round in jeans, jumpers and jackets, but fair enough it's probably the coldest city we've been to so far.. We had a motorbike tour booked for the next day which took us around the dalat area, round some mushroom farms, coffee farms and to a pretty awesome waterfall. The tour lads driving us were really nice guys and just cruising round these curving mountainous roads with them was so good! They took us to a shop where they sold a special kind of coffee... Weasel s*** coffee. They feed the coffee seeds to the weasels, collect their poo after, wash it them flavour it a bit.. It was actually really nice coffee, grim thought but really good!
We also went to a restaurant that the tour guides had showed us where we could try dog.. When we walked in there was about 30 Vietnamese men and only two chairs left in the corner.. Walking through each table looked so happy to see western people in there.. Think we were the first to actually enter, and offered us this rice wine, which was about 60%, it was grim. They were also really chuffed when they saw we had ordered dog.. Which was as fatty as pork but meatier like beef, at least I can say I've tried it.
