I guess after being in Vietnam for a month we were due a little history trip, so we took the war tunnels and war museum trip. The complexity to the tunnels was pretty impressive with a clever ventilation system. The entrances to the tunnels were ridiculously small and inside them was even tighter. Me and Jord managed 20m but had no blood left in our lower legs.. Really not designed for anyone over 5.5ft. The war museum we went to was less of a war museum informing you of who invaded who, how long it lasted, key dates of battles etc.. It was just 3 floors of information on how badly the Vietnamese were treated by the Americans during their occupation, images of dead Vietnamese people and the effects of the chemicals the Americans sprayed on fields of crops, leading to birth defects. All still very interesting to read about, but left none the wiser on the Vietnam war..
