Something I've wanted to do since I first arrived in Melbourne was actually go to a brewery and sample a load of different beers. Well in the penultimate week I finally did it. We went to mountain goats brewery and had a tour around the machines and the storage areas. Learning about the history of the brewery, how they started up and learning about the whole fermentation process, how they use different grains for different flavours, hops for bitterness and natural preservative. I was in my element. And boy did they have a range of beers on tap there, crazy good and fresh. I was determined to try them all!
