So we were pretty lucky in securing a flat in the city CBD, just on the north of the city, $170 a week but I have to share a twin room with Jord and the flat with 4 others. The flats fairly small.. Big enough for us as we literally use it just as a place to sleep and do our cooking rather than living cause we're at work most of the time. However, two of our flat mates are less than desirable, two Turkish guys who are just filthy to live with. Leave all their washing on the side and never really do any cleaning.. Jord had it out with them and now no one talks, we're hardly here so it doesn't really matter. The location of the flat is perfect.. The local market take 5 minutes to walk to.. Melbourne central shopping centre take 2, Aldi shopping is just over the road... And best of all... There is a pub directly opposite and stays open till 4am. Perfect after the graveyard shifts at crown!
