The one thing that stands out about Melbourne is how much of a hospitality city it is. There are hundreds of bars, pubs, clubs and cafes. And among all of these are some quirky bars, one being state of grace, a bar on Collins street where when you walk through to the back there's just a massive bookshelf where if you pull only one of the books the shelf slides away and the stairs lead you to an underground cocktail bar. Another near where we stay you have to go through a library... And one is down 2 small alleyways up some stairs and you find a small quirky bar that sell $10 jugs all night. All of them you would never know about unless you'd actually been there before.. Melbournes definitely a city I could live in.
