On the drive down from Kalbarri to servantas we stopped off at a viewpoint along the way, to look at the coastline, and within 2 minutes we saw a kangaroo and its baby joey and a mountain goat. As we were walking to the edge of the view point, and looked out over the sea, I made smart arse comment and said keep an eye out for whales... What luck... 2 humpback whales came up for air just off the coastline.. Then every 4/5 minutes they'd re-surface somewhere...

Kalbarri national park looked like a stereotypical Grand Canyon, massive orange layered walls, carved from an old river! The drive down to the canyon was tough on the old Impreza!
