Me and danny took a little trip to gilly t as he hadn't been before and did the usual, went out, biked around the island, sat on the beaches and sampled the islands beer.. But this time round we played a game of footy with the local lads from the hostel. It was a planned hour long game, 5v5, me danny and 5 lads from Argentina against what seemed like 12 locals. We played role on subs and we needed it, non of us had played footy or done any cardio for ages and it was 30 degrees.! We were dripping! And all we played in was a pair of shorts! The local lads were in long socks, shorts and long sleeve t shirts, and barely broke a sweat.!! The hour mark came... And went... The lads kept saying 5 more minutes.. Cause we were winning by two goals... Well and hour and a half latter... They finally called time. I don't think I've ever been so hot in all my life! But was good to do something different with the locals.
