Can anyone say best birthday EVER!!!!!! This was my first bday back home in 5 years, so I've been looking forward to it a little more than normal. This year did not disappoint!! Mum, Dad and Emily all took the day off to spend it with me.
We headed to Te Awa Shopping Centre to watch Real Steel at D Box. D Box is the first of it's kind in Australasia. The screens are like a normal cinema but the seats are pure awesomeness. The seats move with the movie, so think the Motion Master ride at Rainbows End (a virtual simulated ride) but at the movies. So imagine that while watching robots fight and you'll soon understand how awesome Real Steel was!!
Being it was a Thursday Mum and Emily had Zumba and Dad had Waka Ama, so I tagged along to Zumba. And as a reward for exercising one of my favs Fish n Chips for dinner, YUM!!! Mum also made my birthday cake, Feijoa and Coconut, delicious!!! This cake was so good it made my top 3 cakes list after one bite!
Just spending the time back in NZ with my whanau was present enough, however I was lucky enough to be spoilt and got some really awesome and especially thoughtful presents!!!!
