Oh, how traveling is exhausting. You would think just sitting on a plane wouldn't be tiring at all. Wrong. Once I landed back down in Frankfurt, I headed over to my friend Cindy's apartment to borrow her bed for the day/night. As soon as I got there I passed out, and slept so long that I slept through my registration appointment for my fall semester classes. I jumped out of her bed at a near run to the closest internet café to successfully register for the classes that I wanted. This was enough excitement for the day for me, so I headed back to Cindy's and hung out for a while then crashed again for the night.
The next morning I woke up at extremely early to catch a bus to the Frankfurt-Hahn airport. Which by the way, it should not be allowed to even have Frankfurt in its name because 2 hours away from Frankfurt is NOT Frankfurt!
Also, it is the shadiest airport ever. First of all, to fly Ryanair your carry-on can't weight anymore than 10kg. They're dead serious about this to. As you walk through the security line, they weigh your bags. If you're over then you're not allowed to proceed. I watched a guy throw an entire suitcase away. Hardcore rules. Secondly, there aren't any really gates. It's sort of just a door that you walk out, and follow a roped path to your plane that you have to walk up the stairs to get on. Shady.
Did I mention that I only paid like 20 Euro for this flight? This explains also why they tried to sell me everything imaginable on the flight. If I wanted to spend more money I would have spent the money on a normal flight!
