Friday 2nd October - Lunch in Perpignan

We walked into the township by a roundabout way which took us about 30 minutes and walked past the square and along the river to another square where the Information Centre is. We chose a cafe and Jannie had omelette and I had a Cassolet du Mer, mine was ok but not quite hot enough but the Estrella beers were great.

We went looking at the shops for perhaps a spare pair of sandals but didn't see any in any of the shoe shops so I'm hoping that the temporary fix will hold for a few days more??

The walk back to the hotel was very direct and we just walked straight down this street, came to the station, walked through the main building, down an escalator, through the subway under the train tracks, up the escalator into the Centre Del Mon and along to our hotel.

We checked in and soon were in our room and having a quiet rest before heading across the tracks for dinner.
