Today we made the short drive into Belfast along the coast, with a brief stop at Carrickfergus Castle on the way. In Belfast, we picked up a local guide Sandra, who boarded the coach and took us on a driving tour around Belfast. After that, it was still to early to check in to the Europa Hotel but we were able to leave our carry-ons at reception and head off for lunch.

After lunch, we were met my another guide Judy, who took us on a walking tour of the city with a focus on Titanic related sites. Tom and Sean then picked us up in the coach again and took us out to the a Titanic Belfast exhibition which we rushed through in the limited time. We treated that as a preview, because we have chosen to stay a couple of extra days in Belfast and plan to visit Titanic Belfast again tomorrow.

This was our last day on the tour. We had a farewell dinner at the hotel where we said goodbye to our new friends. Most of them are leaving early tomorrow for coach transport to Dublin, or from either of the two airports in Belfast.
