The day started by revisiting some of the sights we had already seen last week. This time however, we had a local guide Sandra who was full of extra information. We visited the Olympic Stadium, Temple of Zeus where we had a group photo taken, Acropolis and Acropolis Museumj.
After a light lunch, we headed off for Nafplion. First stop was at the Corinth Canal which is a very narrow and deep cutting through the Peloponnese Peninsula built in the 1800s. Then we drove through some very scenic country to Napflion which is a very pretty village by the sea.
Apparently it's a lottery for who gets the best rooms, but tonight we scored big time with a very luxurious one including a great view, push-button everything including the curtains, multi spray shower and a spa bath with a tv. For dinner the group was served a very nice 3 course meal in the hotel conservatory overlooking the harbour.
