Had an easy day today - We've been trying to buget and not spend much over the next week HA! Had a mooch around town today and stumbled into the Dollar store, where we thought we could pick up some cheap snacks and toiletries. As we approached the doorway I hesitated going in, as at first I thought it was the wrong doorway, then as we entered thought it was full of cheap junk! We had a good rummage around to find nothing actually cost a Dollar and there were things priced up for well over a Dollar that you wouldn't even pay a Dollar for; for example, Amy picked up (and she would) a tacky plastic furry blackbird, which cost $8.50! $8.50 for a "Pretty Bird" - all it needed was some sticky tape around its head and neck and we would have found our ultimate (expensive yet tacky) "Pretty Bird"!!!!!! And we didn't come away with any snacks nor toiletries!
