Last night we had some problems with a large skylarking Possum! He decided to be a 'drop bear', jumping out of his tree and landing heavily on our awning and putting a large tear in it! I gave him a 'whack' with the broom but he still came back and jumped onto our caravan with a thud. He must get fed regularly so he wasn't afraid to keep hassling us!
The plan this morning was to meet Rob and Cathy at a large indoor water slide place called Water Marc at Greensborough. On the way there we had to take a detour due to a traffic incident of some kind, so a 15min drive turned into 45min. When we got there, half of Melbourne was already there! After finally getting a park, we walked up into the building to be confronted with a line of people 100m long. Kellie had a look through a glass window and saw that there were long lines to each slide, aaaargh!! We decided to call Rob and Cathy and tell them not to bother coming. We changed plans and grabbed some food from Woolies and went to Rob and Cathy's for lunch. We spent the afternoon there before driving Daniel to the airport. When we got there we were told his flight is delayed for one hour, aaaaaargh!! So $24 for parking and food for Daniel turned into an expensive airport visit! Daniel is now back home in Brisbane again. It was good to have him travel with us, hopefully he enjoyed travelling through South Australia and Victoria with us. Tomorrow we leave Melbourne for the east coast.
