Well it didn't cool down last night as we were hoping and we didn't have power where we were, so rather than sweat it out, I decided to start up our generator for it to run the air conditioning all night, very soft travellers we are!
Anyway we slept very well. :)
This morning we got up to a cooler day than yesterday with a nice breeze blowing. Our first stop was at a place called Keith. The boys had fun on a toboggan on rails thingy in the local playground and we also checked out Dakar Legend Andy Caldecott's Memorial. He was born in the town of Keith and lived there all his life until his tragic fatal crash in the 2006 Dakar Rally. We then stopped for lunch at Naracoorte which is actually a large country town. While we were there Matthew phoned, so after a longish chat with him we continued on to Mt Gambier. The boys were fast asleep so we decided to continue on over the SA/VIC border to our overnight stop at a bush camp on the outskirts of Dartmoor in Victoria. It's a very large rest area with lush green grass and large trees and we are only one of two campers here. The two boys immediately got on their bikes and rode around the park. The weather is awesome, nice cool breeze blowing, no air conditioning required tonight.
