Sadly we had to check out of the cabin as it was fully booked for the weekend, but not before we made the most of lying around inside for a bit. Went back to the play hall for another round and some lunch then set up camp in the camping area.
Later we biked around the corner to see the lake and the bird sanctuary. Then more playtime in the play hall, you get the drift. Elsie got more and more confident, climbing up the ropes and stairs and going down the big slides by herself. We just sat around drinking beer and freaking out at what she was doing.
A very relaxing rest day... but then about 5.30pm the staff advised us we may want to move our tent as a Chinese tour group were now camping nearby and they thought it might be noisy for us.
It was starting to drizzle again so the staff brought a van around and helped us move all the gear quickly. Everything got a bit disorganised and we were trying to get Elsie off to bed early but by the time we got her back to the tent it was pouring with rain (despite none forecast - I have given up on trying to get an accurate forecast in this place. It literally changes every ten minutes). We hadn't re-pitched the tent quite as well so Shane ran around in the rain fixing it up, the rain was so noisy on the roof, Elsie refused to brush her teeth and I lost the plot a little. Anyway, we are warm and dry for now, time for sleep.
