Happiness Is The Road
Welcome to another day in paradise. I am getting so excited now. Only 2 sleeps now until Jay arrives!!! Today was nearly 40 degrees and I went to the beach a couple of times to go in the sea. The water is lovely and warm here. Because Adelaide is in a bay there aren't any big waves and the water is shallow for ages so you can walk a long way out. I spent ages in the water as it is so luxuriously warm and I saw a dolphin! It just swam by about 6 foot from me, it was a beautiful and incredible sight. It's a pity I didn't have my camera with me to capture this.
The idyllic life continues...........................
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The Parradox Of Our Age
We have bigger houses, but smaller families
More conveniences, but less time
We have more degrees, but less sense
More knowledge, but less judgement
More experts, but more problems
More medicines, but less healthiness
We've been all the way to the moon and back*
But have trouble crossing the street to meet
the new neighbour
We built more computers to hold more
information, to produce more copies than
ever, but have less communication
We have become long on quantity
but short on quality
These are times of fast food
but slow digestion
Tall man but short character
Steep profits but shallow relationships
It is a time when there is much in the
window, but nothing in the room ~ DALAI LAMA
