I have quite a few days now with time on my hands before Jay arrives in Adelaide on January 9th. I am just going to spend the time relaxing, reading and listening to music and that's what I did today. The journey onward and around Australia properly begins again when Jay is here. I have only covered about one quarter of this wonderful country so there is still an awful lot to discover and experience In the meantime I am going to tell you a little story every day....

It's Christmas Eve. I thought I'd get go and see the Flinders Chase National Park today. It is right at the very western tip of Kangaroo Island and is very beautiful. It was only about 20 kilometres away so it didn't take long to get there. I drove to Weir Cove first and parked the camper there. I could have a nice long walk from here. I got up quite late today and caught up with my sleep. The trials and tribulations of the last few days had exhausted me.It had been so lovely to go to sleep all snug and comfy in the camper again.
