Atacames, "Spot the gringa"and Seafood Feasta!!!
Right across the street from the resort, seafood vendors set up shop every morning so we got fresh lobsters, shrimp, squid and conch shells for dinner!
We decided to go on a Atacames cheaper grocery mission and on the bus I took a picture of a new game called Spot the gringa! The picture is of mom sitting at the back of the bus with a bunch of locals and she looks really out of place! Haha! We walked through the garbage filled town down to the beach and stayed for about 5 minutes before we were on a Tuk-tuk and back to the grocery store.
Esmeraladas and Atacames are not very attractive cities at all. Back at the resort we spent the rest of the day chilling by the pool and playing ping-pong. We cooked all the seafood and it was absolutely delicious! We bought a bottle of champagne and stayed up until midnight playing cards, having fun and cracked the bottle to celebrate my birthday!!!!
